"The Camp" 2001

Every year we take Flags, Percussion, Section Leaders, and Drum Majors to The Camp. This year it was Hot! Hot! Hot! (Like the rest of the summer.) We work hard, but we take some time out to relax too.

Every group works on basics and learns a routine to present at the final camp performance. This year the air show at McConnell Air Force Base was the same time as the camp, so the routines had a few overflights by everything from the Zeros used in the movie "Tora,Tora, Tora" to a B1 Bomber or two.

The Camp Motto: "Attitude Is Everything" is emphasized by awarding recognition to the students who epitomize the values of hard work and coopration. Sarah Sprinkle earned the award for the drum line this year.
