2000 Santana 35 Nationals

Congratulations to Mark Sloane and his excellent crew for their victory in the 2000 Santana 35 Nationals.  Mark's immaculately prepared Bluefin dominated the event, posting almost straight bullets in the first 4 races.

Joel Davis in Spellbinder made an impressive showing, including the only victory over the super-fast Bluefin.

Third place was nearly a 3-way tie between three different "out of town" boats:  Bill Keller on Carnival (Monterey), Tim Merrill on Flexible Flyer (Benicia), and Ricc Diola on Gandalf (Santa Cruz).

The racing and camaraderie was spectacular, and San Francisco Yacht Club and WD Shock were excellent hosts.  An excellent event, all around.
