These are my Dutch bunnies. I mostly breed them. When I was young I
had a lot of pets. I wanted to find a pet that would keep me company and stay
quiet and peaceful in my arms in stead of being wild. I even had a Flemish Giant
(big Bunny) but I didn't know how to handle it.

I thought there would be no pet that would do such a
thing. In the Spring of 1997 I asked my mom if I could get a ferret. She said
yes but only if I joined the 4-H. I agreed. Then in August I went to the 4-H fair.
There I held a rabbit and fell in love. I told my mom that I would rather have a
rabbit. She agreed, but I still had to join 4-H and I did. There I learned to
handle and care for rabbits. I finally found my peaceful loving pet. |
