Project Directions

As we continue to learn about Pennsylvania, you will have the opportunity to explore our state in a way that is particularly interesting to you.

You will begin this project by selecting at least four Pennsylvania-related topics to research. All four topics may be related, giving your report a unifying theme, or they may not necessarily be related, which is fine as long as they are very interesting to you.

Throughout this project, you will conduct your research using libraries, our classroom books on PA history, and the Internet.

Remember, you should enjoy this research project and benefit from it. So please select your topics thoughtfully. And if one, for any reason, doesn't seem to be working out, feel free to replace it.

The Topic Research Guide below is meant to guide your research of each topic. You should try to address each question for each topic. You may use the guide for taking notes. This will help keep your research organized.
