You walked into my live
And it took me so by surprise
You held my hand and taught me to fly
I was able to soar among the clouds
And yet you kept my feet on the ground
For that, I owe you more than this life allows

A rose is still a rose
Even hidden among the weeds
Through both the sunshine and the rain
The rainbow still finds it way
There is still beauty everywhere
That's what makes this life worthwhile

You always helped others without a word
