| I bought a two linen table scarves at Martha
Pullen's warehouse and decided to make them into a blouse. By
sewing the scarves onto plain white linen, I was able to make suitable
fabric for the fronts of the blouse. The sleeves, collar and back
are plain white linen. Before sewing the scarves to the linen, I
embroidered designs in every other square. This design is a freebie
from Bobbi Bullard's Botanicals Embroidery Designs.
collection. She has digitized each design to be used with or without
crystals. Of course, I like using crystals wherever it is
possible. I used Stretch & Sew pattern #389 which is a camp
shirt and one I use often. |
