I am getting ready to take Designing Woman to my Mom in Texas
and wanted to show you how beautiful it is completed and framed. This is
a perfect gift for the one who instilled in me the desire to create and never
criticized my early failures but only encouraged me to keep trying and improving.
Without my Mom, I would never have known the incredible joy of turning a
flat piece of cloth into wearable art. Thank you, Mom, and all other teachers
for passing along these skills.
I embroidered her on white cotton/linen. A nice lady in Ben Franklin's framing department showed me how put it on a press (sticky) board. I purchased a mat, which matches perfectly, and a gold frame. Thanks again to Murphy Eckers and Carol Schmidt for sharing this design with us. If you don't have it, go to right here on my web site and download it. |
