Embroidery Library's Stream Garden is a beautiful design. I split it with the help of Kathy Jones' lessons and embroidered it on peach silk dupioni. To give it an eastern flavor, I added one of the geishas from EL's Japanese Geisha Scene to the bridge. |

In trimming the backing away from the design I cut a tiny slit in the fabric--remember Murphy's Law?? I tried several methods to patch it, but nothing looked right. My next idea was to add the borders. The lettering covered the slit, and I like the black borders which match the black cording around the pillow. |
