 | Using a jean jacket which I purchased, I
put lace down with temporary spray adhesive.  Once I was happy with
the arrangement, I stitched around the outside edges.  I embroidered
various florals from Hatched in Africa's Jacobean Jewels I and II over
the lace.  I used various shades of salmon pink, corals and mauve for
      the florals. |

    |
 | I took the lace and florals around the sides but not into
the front since there are more seams, pockets, brads, etc., to interfere
with embroidery.  The back seams and side seams caused no problems. |

 | I did add this little flower to the front collar just to
tie front and back together with the theme.  I am happy with the
results but have to wait until it's cooler to wear it!! |

    | | Here's a little purse I just finished for this
outfit.  It is a "purse-in-the-hoop" from Embroidery
Library.  The purse is made out of denim.  I put lace
under the embroidery and used the same colors as on the jacket.  The
closure is a snap.  These little  purses are cute and fast. |
