I made another Oriental Fan Vest and this one is for Mom. She loves
these colors. This is the Oriental Fan Vest pattern by June
Colburn. The pattern is featured in December '99 Sew News, page
62. You can see another one I made with bolder colors in my
sewing projects. |

The fabric used here is a beautiful Hoffman oriental floral
print. The fan is pieced to the front through the foundation. I used hand-dyed
fabric to match the print and for the bands on the outer edges. The fan is
edged in some purchased white glitzy trim. |

I embroidered the label on the back lining using Customizing System
5 Shapes 1 with Scroll lettering. |
