I purchased the kit for this vest last year at the Houston Quilt Show.  The hand-dyed cotton fabrics are from Cherrywood Fabrics and actually look like suede.  I also purchased the dyed-to-match t-shirt at the same time.  The pattern included in the kit is by Kimura and called "Southwest Vest."  The right front has seminole piecing and fabric fringe trimmed with beads.  The left front has a pieced band with loops holding long beads sewn into the piecing.

I didn't like the detail for the back included in the pattern, so I just repeated the seminole piecing and made a yoke.  The lining is a piece I had on hand with the running horses.  It is called Naturescapes by P&B Textiles.
