Sites on this list you simply must visit, they are the cream of the
crop.
Sky Senshi @ the Racetrack
An amazing page.. I found this one when its delightful owner, Ruk,
signed my guestbook. Although I'd heard of this page before I'd
never taken the time to inspect it fully. Not since PPP have I been
able to sit down and fully read a Shrine page say that it has truly
moved me.
The page has two main informative sections, a section containing
Ruk's thoughts, and a section with miscellaneous stuff like awards,
links and so on. All are presented with charisma. The first section,
"The Sky Senshi's Locker" contains the insight into Haruka's
personality, actions and whatnot. There are two interesting pages
that contrast Haruka's masculinity/femininity (?), an obligatory
piece commentary on the Haruka-Michiru relationship and a "statty"
type of page that has objects, powers et cetera.
An interesting part of the site is Haruka's Journal.. a collection of
thoughts about the characters in the show, written by the site
author from the point of view of Haruka. This section is part of
"Meditative Haruka's Den".. the second major component of the
site. Here you'll also find snapshots of Haruka by herself and with
friends, animating gifs and music to listen to. Very complete.
Once you've read through the Harukastuff (*grin*) you can now go
onto Ruk's Red Car, a more personal section of the site where Ruk
stores her thoughts and also a link to a special help center where
you can find page tips, email addresses for Geocities Community
Leaders and so on. A valuable section.
The design of this site is top notch. The graphics are charming, apt
and are the obvious result of hard work and skill. If there was one
suggestion I'd make for the design of the site, it'd be to add width
and height tags to the images. Other than that, supremo!
One final comment.. on the "An Enchantress Lover" page.. while it
was loading I saw that there was going to be some music and I
scrambled for the volume control box to nix my synthesizer (I can't
stand midi).. but I was too late. The midi loaded. Am I ever glad it
did. Visit this page and hear this music. It is *good*.
