You have struck something inside of me when we first met…a special spark that only one more regal that an earthly queen could light up. You were young, beautiful, and full of life…an innocent flower barely stepping into womanhood—your naiveté bringing comfort to my hardened soul.
You and your equally unaffected friend followed me after that amusing race car game at the Crown Game Center, your youth giving away your interest in me. You asked questions that brought out the playful person out of a mission-obsessed senshi.
I remember… |
"I am Ten'ou Haruka, first year high school. You're curious about me, ne? What more do you want to know about me?"
You were both startled out of your hiding place behind the entrance of Kameda's auto repair shop. Minako-chan, your friend who resembled you, asked, "Who was that girl you were with? What kind of relationship do you have? Is she not your girlfriend?"
Pretending to sound clueless, yet actually amused by your friend's candor, I replied, "Girlfriend? Michiru?"
"Michiru!" you both wailed, seeming to look frustrated that I did not use formal addressing when referring to Michiru. The expression on your faces were enough to break me out of the guileless façade I was wearing.

Your friend asked again, wanting to confirm her thoughts about me and Michiru, "Is this relationship that kind where you can call her by first name?" I replied with as much coolness I could muster, "It's probably more than that. Don't give up, though. There's a chance for the two of you…"
Until now, I still smile as I remember that fateful day you walked into my life. That day, I would never forget—because it was on that day that the wheel of my destiny started rolling down a new path.
…Forgive me, Princess… |
