THE SKY SENSHI ===================== (Version 2.0 by Ruk) SailorUranus became my favorite SailorSenshi for the reason that she has this strangeness of behavior and view of life in general. She may be a very playful person as Ten'ou Haruka, but whenever she becomes SailorUranus, she is one person who is ready to give up her life for the completion of her mission. Haruka is aggresive, but do not ever make the mistake that she never thinks about the consequences of her actions like a lot of Haruka shrine-makers do. As a matter of fact, Haruka is a very meditative person--if you are one to observe carefully, you will notice that she does a lot of thinking, especially when she's with Michiru. One situation I could name where she practiced strategic thinking was when she and Michiru infiltrated the Mugen Gakuen owned by the Death Busters by becoming their students. One cannot just jump in front of such powerful adversaries like the Death Busters and then exclaim: "I will punish you in the name of Uranus!" No. As a leader of the Outer Senshi, it is only right that she think about the consequences of, and be responsible for, her actions. One of the few instances I could remember where she didn't think about what she was doing was when she saved SailorMoon's neck around a couple of times (troubles that are mostly brought about SailorMoon on herself). These actions surprised SailorNeptune and were the reason why Neptune had scolded Uranus. For both Senshi, what Uranus did had no connection whatsoever with their mission--and these actions, in fact, could have jeopardized all that the two Outer Senshi had worked hard for. Basically, SailorUranus can be considered a lesbian--a butch in the anime, and a femme in the manga. As Ten'ou Haruka, she enjoys flirting with women--much to the annoyance (and exasperation) of girlfriend Michiru (SailorNeptune). Sometimes, though, when Michiru starts flirting with men like Seiya (SailorStarfighter), Haruka not only gets irritated, but also loses her temper. Oh, but Haruka still manages to maintain her cool when losing her temper. Haruka is a pianist, a professional race car driver and motorcycle driver, and also a popular track star. She claims to be good at all sports, but loves racing the most. There are times when she wishes she were the wind --she actually runs like the wind! SailorUranus is known as the Senshi of the Sky, and her powers are over the wind and air. Her world shaking attack is like a big ball of wind/air pressure that could destroy anything in its way. She also has a weapon called the Space Sword which came from her heart crystal. The space sword is one of the three talismans necessary to bring about SailorMoon's first SuperSailorMoon transformation. She first appeared in the anime as SailorUranus in Bishoujo Senshi SailorMoon S episode 90, and as Ten'ou Haruka in SailorUranus in Bishoujo Senshi SailorMoon S episode 92. ============== The original version was corrupted and was re-translated from the Tagalog version.
