Asoka of Nepal (Clarence G. White by Lena Lothrop, R. 1950Lavender, olive-ochre, purple blend. ). Parentage unknown, but counted as a 44-chromosome. From an analysis of White's records, Tom Wilkes reported the pedigree as Joppa Parrot X B-46. A significant contributor to the modern gene pool, with registered, fertile offspring from a number of hybridizers. In the following pedigrees, links to Asoka of Nepal are shown in red

ALMOST (W. G. Kellie, 1967). S violet-blue, F yellow, tan and brown layered. Asoka of Nepal X I. gatesii. At least partially fertile, but no chromosome count found.
