BLUE JOY (Lloyd Austin, 1956). Selected variant of I. hoogiana. Medium light blue self; faint lavender flush on falls.
Potential for producing fully fertile halfbreds in the first
generation has not been pursued, probably because hoogiana traits have not been
as much in demand as those of other species. In the
