Welcome Reward X Esther, the Queen

There were two goals in this cross:

  1. Exploring the potential of crosses between such disparate flowers to learn more of the genetics of amphidiploidlike hybrids, and
  2. Concentrating doses of the t-factors for future line-breeding. (Esther, the Queen had been shown to carry it by crosses to TBs that produced tangerine pink quarterbreds and Welcome Reward was known to have inherited it from its parent, Pink Formal.)
