Comments: Transmetal 2 Dinobot is a figure that is sure to please many Beast Wars fans.

Transmetal 2 Dinobot's colors of brown, red, and white have been changed to blue, maroon, and off-white color respectively in his official release. The first thing you may notice when you open up Dinobot's package is that he smells just like a Todd McFarlane figure. This is due to the fact that his tail is made almost entirely of the rubbery material that is used most McFarlane figures. By making his tail out of this material, Dinobot's tail can easily whip back and fourth by rotating a disk in part of it. Unfortunately, the rest of the figure lacks in pose-ability due to cables that connect his hands and feet to the wrists and shins, and also by rectangular bumps positioned around the areas. The look of the figure in beast mode is a little strange, but none the less is great.

In robot mode, Dinobot looks great. The hands and feet have the same pose-ability that they do in beast mode. His robot head looks very much like the cartoon incarnation of Dinobot with the exception of added cybernetics. He has no hand weapons, but he can still use his tail, or it can be removed if desired. The spark jewel is located in the raptor head, and lie many Transmetal 2's is located in the center of the chest.

What Dinobot lacks in beast mode he more than makes up for in robot mode. This is a must for all those fans looking for the "cool" figures or mainly characters that are on the show.
