Identification: Spider

Comments: Blackarachnica is a recolor of the first series Tarantulas. Unfortunately.....she isn't really that impressive color wise. However....still one freaky spider!!!

Retains a darker color scheme. Black on rear and front. Gold on legs and tentacles. A little green and purple here and there. Unfortunately nothing to write home about. Not like the neon/metallic painted figures we see with recent models. A little detail was added and etched into the plastic but (again) nothing spectacular.

Blackarachnica has a unique attack mode while a spider. You wrap the string around the missile post and press the fire trigger. This shoots the weapon out. It's kind of neat! The transformational steps are okay but nothing that exciting. Once in robot form, remove the four hidden missiles located under arms. Place them into launcher and away they go!!

One thing I will mention is the fact that she's a "female" Transformer!! Nice to see no gender problems here!! Although not the greatest of Beast Wars figures, you'll definitely get caught in her web!!!




Moving like a venomous shadow under a midnight moon, Blackarachnia is an evil temptress posing as a Predacon double agent!! Capable of converting thermal energy into poisonous cyber-venom, she lures Maximals into her darkened den and then stuns them by firing a poison-tipped missile! After restraining them in her powerful legs, she then sinks her fangs into their armor to suck their life-force dry!!
