Comments: I read a review from someone else on the net which stated that Inferno was "...one big f***ing ant"!! He's absolutely correct. If I ever saw this guy crawling along my kitchen sink, I'd move!! I really like the look of his insect mode. The robot form is less creative! However, he always looks great!!!

Red. That's all you'll need to know. He has red everywhere. I have an idea.....let's examine where he doesn't have red. Okay....black on legs and tentacles. Blue stripes in a couple places. Gray fangs. That's about it. In robot form he's also.....red!! Tee hee!!

By pushing on the lever on Inferno's head, you open the pinchers to reveal a launcher. His rear leg extensions (which are separate in the box and are in the accessory pack) snap off and become missiles. You load them into the head and then push forward on the lever to launch them. He has a pretty good number of transformational steps. However, once in robot mode you'll notice that he's not all that impressive. In transforming, you disconnect his pincher and launcher. These can be placed in his hands and become a weapon. This allows Inferno to shoot the missiles even in robot form.

Inferno is a Mega Beast Wars figure. Therefore he comes in a box with a "see-through" window. Inside the box is an accessory pack which includes a Kenner catalog, Inferno's instructions, and two missiles.

Inferno is a beautiful figure!! His Ant form is a lot more impressive than his robot form though. However, definitely a worthy purchase....oh.....and one big f***ing Ant!!!




Although seemingly slow, this giant ant's abdomen splits into separate quadrants to reveal hyper-drive ion thrusters that propel him at speeds of up to 180 mph! If he can't catch a retreating Maximal, he detaches his rear leg missiles and fires them from the secret launcher hidden within his power-pinching mandibles! The claw-like pinchers also detach so Inferno can put the bit on enemies even in robot mode, when his destructive powers are at their best!
