Huffer
Alliance: Autobot
Identification: Autobot MINI-truck cab
Year released: 1984
Accessories: ----
Comments: Huffer is a pretty unique figure. While he suffers from the "basic" aspect (in terms of the mini G1 cars), he still holds his own. Plus....he only cost $2.99 back then :)
This particular Huffer shown above is carded in vehicular form. This proves that it was a first year release (subsequent releases were stamped with the rub symbol and packaged in robot form). He's an orange and silver mini-semi cab. He is quite realistic.
Transforming him isn't difficult and his smokestacks look a bit strange as arms, but his robot form is decent. He is quite interesting and is an excellent first year car.
Huffer is cynical, hard-boiled and pessimistic. "He looks at the world through sludge-colored wind-shields". Will complain it can't be built, then builds it anyway. Not too sociable, but absolutely reliable. Arm sensors can test materials for strength, heat resistance, elasticity, etc. Extremely strong. Superior mathematical and geometrical abilities. Often unhappy and homesick for Cybertron.
