Comments: Awesome. I love this Metatron. Why? Because he's the original and I always associate the name Megatron with the good old silver gun!!! Obviously it is illegal to produce realistic looking weapons and Megatron looks as real as can be. However, his Machine Wars version made me want to gag. I can live with Tank and T-Rex.....but not a plane...too cheesy! At least when he was redone in the movie as Galvatron he was a futuristic cannon!!! That's Megatron folks......a weapon of destruction.

His slick design makes him one of the coolest looking Decepticons. Although a true Walther P-38 is bigger, Megatron could definitely pass as a real pistol!! He has a shiny outer top with a slick black holder. Of course, turning Meg to robot was a little confusing at first but became second nature as you practiced. The cannon fits onto his right arm and looks great! The robot form of Megatron was a little different than the cartoon/comic counterpart. His trigger and pistol tip stuck out of his body. However, if you were like me, you probably pushed the pistol tip up so it went up his back (like it should have). With a little force you could get him as close to the cartoon as possible.

Like OP, Megatron has been redone a lot as well. He was a Walther P-18, and Action Master. In Generation 2 he was redone as a green tank, a purple HERO tank, and a Gobot. Plus, in the Machine Wars line he was redone (once again) as a jet. Let's not forget the name Megatron in the BW.

As a commander Megatron can't be beat. Although I liked the more Psycho nature of his redone self Galvatron, he definitely is worthy of command!!

Megatron combines brute strength, military cunning, ruthlessness and terror. Aches to return to Cybertron to complete the Decepticon conquest, but only after destroying all Autobots on Earth. Plans to possess all of Earth's resources. Incredibly powerful and intelligent. Fires particle beam cannon. Can link up interdimensionally to a black hole and draw anti-matter from it for use as a weapon. No known weakness.
