Comments: Everyone knows Optimus Prime. In the hearts of many young boys, he was a hero. He was cunning, smart, and caring toward his fellow Autobots. In fact, he was so famous that even the strongest-willed person created a tear when Prime died in the movie. He was very well liked by any and everyone.

Optimus Prime was the Autobot leader who formed the tractor-trailer. In my opinion, he was one of the slickest Autobots from the first year. The cab is separate from the trailer in truck mode. When you uncouple both of them, the cab can be transformed. After a few flips and snaps (as well as placing the two fists into his arms) the cab becomes Optimus Prime. In robot form, Prime really isn't that tall. He is around the same size as the Decepticon jets. In fact, if you were to put Galvatron and Optimus side by side......Galvatron could crush him with one of his feet. He has detachable hands and one weapon. The gun he uses is similar to the one from the cartoon series. Details people....I love it!!!!!!

But that's not all!!! As an added bonus, the trailer itself transforms into Autobot headquarters. Inside is a robot with artillery backup circuitry. It has two spring activated missile launchers and radar (plus a twisting claw). Also inside is Prime's scout named Roller. He is a small little car with six wheels that goes out and scouts ahead during missions. The toy has the ability to shoot Roller out into action. Plus, you can refuel him with the gas hose and nozzle. I believe that the very first releases of OP included a "silver" Roller car. I have a boxed OP with the "blue" Roller and a loose OP with a "silver".

Optimus, being the awesome guy he was, has been through many different changes over the years. There was Power Master Prime, Action Master Prime, and Pepsi Prime (I"ve never seen this one). Plus, in Generation 2 there was a recolor of Prime with a black trailer, Hero OP, Gobot OP, and Laser Optimus Prime. Plus.......the new Optimus Prime in the Machine Wars line. Let's not forget Optimus Primal in BW. I'm sure there are many that I've missed! However, you get the basic idea.

Optimus Prime is worth pretty good and the condition of him is very important. He's definitely one of the best. Optimus Prime was a part of us. And this type of connection is something that Transformers fans will cherish for life. Autobots......roll out!!!!

Optimus Prime is the largest, strongest, and wisest of all Autobots. Feels his role is the protection of all life, including Earth-life. Fights unceasingly to defeat the Decepticons. Splits into three autonomous modules: 1) Optimus Prime...the brain center known as the Commander; 2) Roller, the Autobot scout car...a spy who operates up to 1200 miles away; and 3) Autobot Headquarters...the combat deck equipped with a versatile mechanic/artillery robot. Injury to one module is felt by the other two.
