Comments: Starscream is one jet no transformers fan would ever forget. He was the "guy who always wanted to replace Megatron as leader" in the cartoon series. How could you forget a trader? Well.....the figure itself is just as nice as the reputation it precedes. While not as colorful as the other jets of the first year, Starscream can still hold his own.

Starscream is mainly gray and red in jet form. There is also a hint of blue toward his back and tip of his nose-cone. All of the accessories are gray and blue as well. Let's not forget the accessories on the Generation 1 jets.....the most easily lost of any figure. Unlike some figures that have pieces usually connected to the bodies....the whole formation of the jets relied on accessories. Starscream is no different. In jet mode he has two large wings, two tail wings, the missile launchers, missiles, and landing gear.

Transforming the main body isn't difficult. You pull around the cone, flip down the legs, and pull out the arms. It is the placement of the accessories that accounts for repeated play. This includes snapping on the fists, twisting all the wings and rutters, and connecting the missiles. After completed, Starscream's robot form is nice. He looks a lot like his counterpart in the show.

While all of the Generation 1 jets (from '85 & '85) looked remarkably the same. Starscream holds his own if not by the NAME alone.

Seeks to replace Megatron as leader. Ruthless, cold-blooded, cruel...considers himself the most sophisticated and handsome of Decepticons. Believes Decepticons should rely more on guile and speed rather than brute force to defeat Autobots. Fastest flyer of group, can reach Mach 2.8 and an altitude of 52 miles. Shoots cluster bombs and null-rays which disrupts flow of electricity. Very good at what he does, but sometimes overrates himself.
