Places of Note: Sand Cave

The Sand Cave

This large cave is a perfect half-sphere, one stadia in diameter. There are twelve three pace wide passages radiating off, each equidistant. A golden sand covers the floor. Quite warmer than the average for the mountain, this half-sphere is lit by a warm golden glow. In the center is a large golden egg, seven paces long, cracked in two. The egg once imprisoned Mushussu. It is covered in various sigils, including the Verditius runes for Rego and Vim. The inside is an astrological scheme where the stars Sirius and Alderban dominate.
