The first meeting is free.  More information is available by calling 818-999-2922 or by e-mail.

You have an interest in spiritual inquiry.

You would like to find out what the current enthusiasm about spirituality is all about.

You have questions about yourself and the workings of the world around you.

You would like to work on your spiritual side but don’t know where to start.

You would like to learn more about the universe of spiritual practices.

You would enjoy a support system for your current spiritual practice.

Your dogma is getting you down and you want to find a way around it.

You have trouble maintaining a focus on what really matters in life.

You cannot find Peace or serenity no matter what you do or try.

You’ve lost your sense of humor and it just isn’t funny anymore.

You have persistent nagging problems and don’t know how to escape them.

You find that psychotherapy just isn't quite enough.

You feel that you would benefit from a little perspective on life.

You would like to learn about the Truth.

You are working on gaining an understanding of your true purpose in life.

You are distracted and distressed by your everyday life.

You believe that there must be more to life than this.

And/Or?

What is the purpose of these groups?

Still working on this question

But, generally to help group members and its leader to develop spiritually in an integrated and holistic way ~ i.e. in body, mind, psyche and spirit.

You can check out the brochure

What qualifies Roger to lead these groups?

Still working on this question

But, Roger was guided to establish the Spiritwalk Foundation and begin to teach others about spirit by a series of very interesting (to him) spiritual events.

Roger has been a student of spiritual psychology, religion and spiritual practice for over 30 years.  He has endeavored to integrate this into his work and his personal life.

What happens at one of these groups?

Still working on this question

But, we meditate, read, study and discuss books, share spiritual stories and experiences, etc

see Spiritwalkers statements below.

What do members say about their Spiritwalk experience?

"Spiritwalk is a place to explore my spiritual beliefs. We talk about anything and everything spiritual.  Without judgment. I can share my ideas and beliefs, and learn from others. I feel encouragement from others in the group. I am exposed to great ideas and great books to read. Spiritwalk is a source for me to find out what in going on out there in the spiritual world. We have attended wonderful events.   Whatever my expectation were when I started this group are null and void, yet I have I grown in ways I thought not necessary. My idea of what spirituality is has changed. I have a better understanding of my own spiritual values and I am excited about my spiritual focus. It leaves me in a world of wonderment to think whatever my current expectations are; how they will change, what Spiritwalk will bring to me next. Spiritwalk helps me to stay mindful even at times when I think it's not possible. I now am aware of god's presence at all times. And for this I thank Spiritwalk."

"Spiritwalk has been a delightful experience for me.  It's been a place to explore spirituality in my life.  The group has presented a wealth of information and new thought that is priceless in my quest for inner peace."

"In today's hectic lifestyle, my efforts at practicing Mindfulness seem to result mostly
in my being mindful of how little time I have to be mindful. Spiritwalk meetings ensure that
I can concentrate on my spiritual life at least one evening a week. I come out of the meetings
energized for days after."

"In the last few years, my feelings of dissatisfaction with the typical life of an Angelino had become unbearable. Always knowing that there must be more to life than Seinfeld and second marriages, I began looking for a release, a vision of myself, free from freeways, cut off from car phones and transported from television to a piece of peace of mind that I could energize and build upon. Then came Spiritwalk.

I should have known that there were others on the same quest as I. Seeking as much information about the other side of living, that of the growth of the soul, was much more important to others than I thought. My Spiritwalk group consists of others of like perceptions and goals. We all want to learn more about ourselves and our place in the universe. An endless task, I hope.

We have tailored our program to fit our interests, talents and limitations. In our first year we've explored a myriad of topics from Thich Nat Hahn to Tarot. We've shared our spiritual experiences in
everyday life, helping us to recognize the awesome power of prayer and communion in spirit. Each meeting offers us a chance to express ourselves in a comfortable, totally accepting, atmosphere of trust and understanding. Spiritwalk is truly an adventure of the soul and a path for the heart."

Spiritwalkers Love the Bison

Probably one of the biggest shames humankind has perpetrated upon our continent is the near extinction of the American Bison from the plains at the center of our nation.  Now, just as they begin to come back, a new threat, again over money and personal gain, endangers this wonderous, amazing, majestic species.  The herd in Yellowstone National Park decreased by 60% in the winter 1996-97, killed by cattle ranchers who regarded them as presenting a danger to their herds due to disease.  The Bison's only offense was not to recognize the fences that separated them from the cattle ranches.  We encourage to support the National Parks and Conservation Association and the Nature Conservancy in their efforts to Save the Bison.   You can get information about this by following these links. The Spiritwalk Foundation is participating in the Nature Conservancy's Adopt-a-Bison program.  We invite you to join in the effort.  The guy on the left, Thunderfoot,  is ours.
