Claude Bolling, Vintage Bolling I Couldn't Find Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano (with Jean Pierre Rampal) which is an old time favorite. This is also an excellent album, a Best of, and contains several cuts from the aforementioned album. Uplifting, Spirited and Musically Tight yet Casual and very comfortable. Great music to share with others.
Dave Brubeck Quartet, Time Out The Jazz Album to own. Brubeck and Paul Desmond on his silky smooth sax produce the classics Take Five and Rondo ala Turk.
Miles Davis, Sketches of Spain Probably the "coolest" album of all time, Miles Davis reaches into his own Soul and finds Spain.
Stan Getz & Joao Gilberto, Getz/Gilberto Simple, very laid back, Serenade Music for a quiet tropical evening~ Desafinado, the ultimate.
Oregon, Out of the Woods Mellow Oboe and other Woodwinds. A classic.
Tony Scott, Music for Zen Meditation (and other joys) Quiet, Peaceful, Centering. Scott's Jazz Clarinet teams with Shakuhachi and Koto to blend traditional japanese melodies into transformational vibrations.
