Tony Scott, Music for Zen Meditation (and other joys)
The absolutely best music for a rainy day or for a ride along the beach. Quiet, Peaceful, Centering. Clarinet, Shakuhachi and Koto blend traditional japanese melodies into transformational vibrations. A must for every Spiritwalker's music library. This is Roger's personal favorite. Check out his review on Amazon.com [coming soon.]
#2 A. Vivaldi, The Four Seasons: for relaxation and meditation Not my favorite version, but a good one , and the one that is available
Richard Warner, Quiet Heart/SpiritWind In Native American style, the native flute sounds are peaceful and centering. This 2 CD set for 12.99, plus s&h is an absolute bargain. This is a favorite at Spiritwalk, one that we listen to constantly.
#4 Claude Bolling, Vintage Bolling I Couldn't Find Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano (with Jean Pierre Rampal) which is an old time favorite. This is also an excellent album, a Best of, and contains several cuts from the aforementioned album. Uplifting, Spirited and Musically Tight yet Casual and very comfortable. Great music to share with others.
Dave Brubeck Quartet, Time Out The Jazz Album to own. Brubeck and Paul Desmond on his silky smooth sax produce the classics Take Five and Rondo ala Turk.
