As you begin to think of your summer vacation plans, please remember to save all the extra goodies you receive when you travel.   We will once again make up toiletry kits for our PADS guests for the fall and winter.

We especially need shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soaps, lotion, combs, deodorant and any other products you find helpful for our guests.  We will combine them into zip lock bags and distribute them to the adults.  If you have some items for children (with special flavors or scents) please include them as well.  We will package those separately.

Also, if you see warm socks on sale this summer, they are always needed in the cold weather.  Cold, wet feet are a constant problem for our guests and we are always receiving requests for thick, warm socks.  Please hold onto these items until the fall months, when a carton labeled PADS will be put in the back entrance of church for collections.

So too, if you see warm hats, mittens, gloves scarves, any warm clothing on sale -- PADS can use it.

Amazingly, no matter how many bags of warm clothing we bring to our site, the clothes are totally distributed by the end of the evening.  Gently worn sweat suits, turtle necks, sweaters, jackets, shoes, boots jeans  -- they are all greatly appreciated.   If you have a question about any of these items, please call me and we can discuss.
