Forum Mundial de Mediación - World Mediation Forum - Forum Mondial de Médiation

Informations about Forum

WHAT IS THE WORLD MEDIATION FORUM?

It is an association involving people and institutions from all over the world related to interpersonal, transcultural and international mediation.

It was created in 1993 in Dublin as a result of the Ist. International Conference on Mediation and it was formally constituted at the Assembly celebrated at the "El Escorial" Conference in September, 1995.

WHAT IS ITS GOAL?

Divulgate and interchange knowledges related to mediation. A conference will be organised every two years.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER?

Sending in an application form (personal and institution) for acceptance by the Steering Commitee.

YOU CAN BE AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT FOUNDING A DELEGATION

The Forum´s idea is to bring everyone interested in mediation together. As there are many different ways to understand it, as well as many fields of use, the Forum suggests you to meet other people that work in the same way as you on the same kind of conflicts and subjects, and form a delegation in your city. The only request is that 15 members meet together and ask the Steering Commitee for cooperation and suggestions to its organisation. The material you produce will be documented and shared with all the members; it means, all over the world.

If this proposal does not get your interest, join the association individually and you will get the same advantages.

MEMBERSHIP FEE

It is U$S 200 every year for organisations and U$S 50 for individuals.
