by Glenn Chapman Staff Writer Candles will burn in honor of Christine Eastin tonight as friends and family members continue their quest to solve the mystery of the woman's disappearance 26 years ago today. Deacon Paul Frumkin of St. Clement Church will lead the ceremony, slated to begin at 5:30p.m. in the parking lot of a car whash at 25400 Mission Blvd. Hayward. It was in that smae parking lot that the last trace of Eastin was found Jan. 18, 1971. Eastin had graduated from Sunset High School the previous year and was continuing her studies at Chabot College. |
