Huggly's Christmas
Huggly forgets and leaves his only star crystal in the people child's closet. He can't explore dark tunnels with his friends until they get the crystal back. But what has the people child done with it? And why is a tree, covered with lights, growing inside the people house? Join Huggly and his friends, Booter and Grubble, as they discover the beauty and spirit of Christmas.
Book number seven in the Huggly series is dear to my heart. I love Christmas and have many fond memories of this special holiday. What's the worst thing a kid can do? Knock over the Christmas tree! Not once in my own childhood did I ever see the family tree fall over. But ever since I've been a father putting up the tree, it's fallen over several times (not caused by my kids). My dad must have known some trick to keep the tree up. But he never showed me. Last year our tree fell over TWICE and a lot of ornaments broke. Oh, well. Once we cleaned up the mess and stood it back up, the tree was as pretty and magical as ever.
