Huggly's Snow Day

"Something is wrong with the people world!"

What is all that white stuff? Join Huggly and his friends, Booter and Grubble, as they discover the joys of new-fallen snow. But it only snows in the people world. And the sun is coming up. They don't want to get caught by the people child. How can they make the snowy fun last even after they return home? Will the three monster friends find a way? Read Huggly's Snow Day and see what happens.

This is the eighth Huggly story in the series. I had fun writing this one because I really love snow. I remember many snowy adventures from my own childhood. Once, we lived in a big farmhouse on the side of a mountain in Pennsylvania. My older brother and I received round aluminum sliding discs for Christmas. After the next big snow, we slid down our front yard but couldn't stop. We whooshed across Mom's garden and kept on going. We sailed through tall weeds and across sloping fields until, halfway down that mountain, we finally stopped in the flat backyard of the farm below us. It was a kinda scary ride and fun at the same time, if you know what I mean. This book is dedicated to the sweet lady who lived in that farmhouse below us (and she still lives there!!!) and to all her family.
