Det Lille HusetThe eternal goal at the end Grethe Aasvestad |

One reason Diane and Ken loved their trip is that their first nights were spent at "The Little House" run by Grethe Aasvestad, a few minutes from Stavanger's harbor and only two blocks from the central lake. Rooms are sunny, clean and much cheaper than hotels. The bedrooms include a coffee or tea-maker in the room. There is even a flat available with a full kitchen. |

Grethe should win an international award for congeniality and graciousness. Grethe also writes poetry, as well as doing watercolor, calligraphy and photography. She explained that "The Little House" was named for the poem translated loosely from the Norwegian above. For more information write or call: Grethe Aasvestad |
