Cutler, Yeck shine:

Swansboro's Patrick Cutler won the pole vault, 1,600-meters and 3,200 to take MVP Track and Field honors Wednesday at the East Central 2-A Track and Field Championships at East Carteret High.

Swansboro's Amanda Yeck claimed the 100- and 300-hurdles on her way to claiming MVP Track and Field honors in the girls' meet.
