Vivian:
George, I am so grateful that we found each other. I was sick, physically and spiritually. I was lost. You have restored my faith, not only in my ability to love, but in my worthiness to be loved. You have provided me with love, compassion, and security so that I may become well—whole--again.
Because of you, I am a better person than I once was. With your help, I intend to continue to improve as a person, in all ways possible. I could be content just to be with you, but I want to marry you. Marriage invites us--compels us--to examine our deepest beliefs—not just about love and relationships, but also about our world view.
George:
Vivian, I am so happy that we found each other. Because of you, I am a better person than I once was. You are helping me to take life less seriously, to relax, and play more. Because of you, I laugh more.
