Camp Okihi is a county park on China Grade Loop, just across the river from the Hart Park soccer fields. There is camping on grass with flush toilets, tables, barbecue grills and a large campfire ring. There is also a large grassy field with trees that is perfect for Capture the Flag, compass exercises, and other games.

LOCATION:

• Drive north on Highway 99 and take the Airport Drive Exit.
• Just past Meadows Field Airport turn right (east) on China Grade Loop, which winds around and eventually changes name to Round Mountain Road.
• Drive through Kern River oil field and negotiate some 90°, right-angle turns to the left around farm fields. About 10.4 miles past the China Grade/Airport Drive intersection, look for a small sign on the right (river side) with a dirt road that drops down to a flat, grassy area next to the river. This is the park. The soccer fields are just across from the park on the opposite side of the river.
