1 cup | rolled oats |
1 cup | brown sugar |
1/2 stick | margarine |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
1 Tbsp | cooking oil |
knife, cutting board, can opener, and potato peeler also needed. A separate pan to melt the butter in makes cleanup easier. |
Peel and slice apples.
Melt butter in a separate pan, and mix cinnamon, brown sugar and oats into melted butter.
Grease inside of oven with cooking oil, and place oven on 9 hot briquettes. Lining inside of oven with foil makes clean up easier.
Put sliced apples and butter/sugar/oats mixture in oven. Open can of cranberry sauce and add contents to other items. Mix ingredients together taking care not to tear foil lining the pot.
Place lid on oven, put 15 hot briquettes on top, and bake for 30-40 minutes.
