Laguna de La Coromoto (Coromoto Lagoon) is your first step in your way to ever snowed peaks Humbolt and Bonplandt. At its surroundings there are several camping areas, but the main one is just at arrival, besides remains of a chimney belonging to a extinct shelter.

This place is sheltered from wind by rocks and bushes, and water is about 30 metros (98 ft) west. Besides, floor is hard and you have to take away pebbles. Height is 3300 m (10830 ft), so you have to bring appropriate clothes. Also, give your body a chance to adapt to lack of oxygen.
