PAPER MOON
A dream by papermoon
My father and I were shopping for stone gargoyles. We ended up at
this big white house that had these tremendous guard dogs out back. The
store owners told us to just look around and let them know if we found
something we liked. We ended up outside, and my father decided to go and
see if the dogs were friendly enough to pat. I found this to be unusual
because my father does not like big dogs -they make him nervous. I was
telling him not to go near those dogs, but it was too late. The dogs had
already jumped on my father and knocked him down. He couldn't get up
because the huge chain that the dogs were attached to became wrapped
around him and it was so heavy he could not stand up. I felt so
helpless. All I could do was scream and cry "Please Daddy, get up!" I
was too scared of the big dogs myself to be able to do anything else. He
finally got free of the chains, and I ran over to help him up. His right
shoulder was bleeding so badly from a dogbite he looked as if he had been
shot. The next thing I knew, we were in the ER, and then the dream was
over.
Well, there it is. Just as I remember it anyway =).
Hi Papermoon, Thank you for the dream. And, for sharing so much of yourself. Knowing you has been a wonderful experience. Carpe Diem,
