On the road again...
It gets harder and harder to say goodbye to
Monica and our “family” at the front gate! So I was beset with a mixture
of emotions… sad to leave but excited to do this short tour, get Live Fire on
the road… finally… and promote Blood On The Highway “live”!!
I am not going to continue bleating about
airport stuff and anyway I flew with Air Berlin to Munich and they are a really
good airline. Not sure why the flight attendants were so miserable but
that’s their issue….
On the way, it occurred to me that I haven’t
been to Munich in more than 25 years so I was looking forward to it for a number
of reasons. In the early days we practically lived in Munich, playing the
Circus Krone on every tour and we recorded Wonderworld here too. I don’t
know anything about our first venue,The Garage, but we have to start somewhere
and I am excited about this tour. We’ll hit 4 countries to do 6 shows and one TV
show so we’ll cover a lot of ground in 10 days!
And it’s going to be a busy tour with lots of
press, TV and radio to do as well as a couple of overnight bus rides, but I have
done it before and I am confident that I’ll get the hang of it quickly
enough…..
For now
though, it’s time for a little dinner, a few phone calls and….. SLEEP!
