Air Berlin took me to Bonn in about 50 minutes and I went straight to the venue
to hook up with the guys and do a short TV interview. Harmonnie is a small
club but the vibe is great and everyone was pulling together to get the set-up
and sound check done as fast as possible so we could get ready for an early
(8pm) show. And I had a few good friends coming to this show….
It was the last show of this little tour but
we had achieved our main purpose which was to “see if it could work”. We
are building a foundation for the future and I feel that this was successful.
Because I am not using the name Uriah Heep in a headline sense, it’s a bit like
starting again but, thank God, I have everything I need to do that and the
reaction at these shows has been fantastic so, potentially at least, we have a
lot to look forward to.
I will go home tomorrow with a lot of ideas
and thoughts running through my head. And, as usual, I will spend a lot of
time praying about the future so I get the right advice.
I will spend half of January in Switzerland
working with Kandlbauer on the Lady in Black project and with Universal to
promote B.O.T.H and then we are back on the road in February.
Onward and upward….
God bless,
Ken
