Day 18
I am really
homesick!
It's a long
time since I felt like this although of course I always miss my "family".
Apart from the actual concerts which have all been sold out and great, the rest
of the Russian tour has been really difficult and very frustrating and it has
affected me in a lot of different ways. I didn't sleep well last night and
my butt is dragging all over the place.
I couldn't
really enjoy my little time in this palace either. I was just in a funk
all day and of course we had more problems with the main promoter who had
decided to show up at this gig. I won't bore you with the details but,
again, I had to threaten the guy in order to get one particular lie/problem
dealt with.
It's no fun
going on stage having spent the last 90 minutes dealing with these things but
the show was sold out and we did do a great show in the end. I just felt
so totally "disconnected"….
Dinner would
have to be quick tonight as I had to leave very early to catch my flight from
Moscow to Zurich.
It will be
a relief to and for all of us to return to civilisation.
