Day 22
Hallelujah… I
slept for 7 hours! I had a lot of strange dreams but that's not so
unusual.
After
breakfast I spent some time practising, putting new strings on my acoustic
guitars and relaxing as much as possible to prepare for rehearsal with the guys
from "Lies" which was scheduled for 4pm. Lies is mainly a Purple tribute
band but they are all good players in any context and they had prepared the 6
Heep songs we were going to do together. This all went smoothly and, apart
from a couple of technical things, I was sure we were prepared for the show.
Tomorrow I
will spend time in my own little sound-check. For now it was time for
dinner with Stefan, his lovely wife Svetlana and their adorable little girl
Denisa who gave me some little drawings she made at the table. Actually
she hardly stopped drawing!
