For reasons too boring to go into, I arrived in Oslo a day early and enjoyed the
free time by catching up on a little work, taking random siestas and reading a
couple of newspapers, something I rarely do. As a result, the late Ingmar
Bergman is now more than just a name to me. Isn’t it strange how some
famous people become really famous and usually even more popular after they die?
Or perhaps it’s me that’s strange…..
I also spent a pleasant meeting with Jan
Sollien, a Norwegian booking agent and it seems he will affect my professional
life in a positive way in the future.
Ken and Magne arrived in time for a nice dinner and, over a few glasses of wine,
we mapped out some of the musical and practical details of our future.
