"'especially'…….
A journey to Germany, Bulgaria and ….. wait for it ….. Iceland!!"

Day 1

Seat 2A on an Airbus 320 is usually a great seat…. especially on Air Berlin, the only problem is that this flight was filled with two-legged junior noisemakers who insisted on practising!

And why oh why do mothers with new babies (and all the paraphernalia that goes with them!) have to be busy all the time, jumping up and down, fetching this and that, pressing the call button endlessly expecting special treatment and all the while being watchful to see that everyone was observing what an especially good mother she was being?

(I bet my mum wasn´t like that! My mum never even went on a plane… ever!)

Why don´t they just go by bus?

As is usual with this airline, we landed right on time and I was whisked away to the hotel Arco which wasn´t bad. I mean the hotel wasn´t bad, not being whisked away…..

I went straight to meet with everyone at Membran to discuss plans for the new CD, and I especially wanted to talk about marketing and promotion. I was able to share a little music that Dani and I had prepared, almost finished tracks and the video for ¨(This) Bleeding Heart¨ that Igor Burloff directed in St. Petersburg.

I have some strong feelings about how to position the new CD (and me along with it!) and I think we are all agreed on the need for a shift in focus and the exciting possibilities this opens up.

We are thinking about a release date in the little window that traditionally opens up in early November and I will share more of this planning with you as we get closer to the release date.

These were good meetings and I went back to the hotel feeling especially encouraged.

Eric called and we made plans to meet for dinner which ended up happening, though more by accident.

Dear Eric, he can be such a calamity!
