"Small Town, Big Fun'"
After
breakfast I changed my guitar strings and went to the venue to check things out.
Typically
German, things were organised well and everything looked ready so I hooked up
with Karola and the guys from Circle of Hands for a long(ish) sound check which
also went well.
The weather
was a bit of a challenge as it went from sunny to cloudy and a little rain and
back again but it stayed dry for the gig and everyone had a good time. There
were lots of smiling faces in the crowd and they sang particularly well which
made me smile.
My evening
finished perfectly with a schnitzel and a couple of beers and all in all it had
been a very enjoyable trip.
I didnīt get
to see as much of Kelkheim as I would have liked so I am going to need an excuse
to go back sometime.
