A message from Ken Hensley
Hi Everyone!
There I was… thinking that 2006 was going to be a
nice, calm year and BOOM! along came Membran, the Hamburg based
company that is going to be my partner in all things musical!
This is a great opportunity and a great partnership and we are going
to be doing some really cool things together, through their
world-wide distribution network.
First they will release the book and then, on July 3rd, I will
start producing their Croatian superstar Silvio D’Anza who will
record with us here in Spain. Silvio has an incredible, classically-
-trained voice and we will be doing a CD of songs that blend his
classical talent with his love of rock.
Membran will then be re-releasing The Last Dance and Cold Autumn
Sunday and, at some point, I will go into the studio to do a CD of
new songs for release in early 2007.
As a result of this, and for a very limited time, we will have some
very special deals in the CD store beginning on June 1st so be sure
and check them out!
The book is at the printer and I’ll keep you posted as we start to
ship the limited edition copies which are now sold out! But the deal
with Membran means it won’t be hard to find.
Next week we will look at the October tour and make some final
decisions about it. The Polytur label band “ADAM” will be opening
for us on some of the shows and I am also looking at offers of shows
in South Africa. That will be great because I have never been there
or played there. Soon we should have details of the November shows
in Russia and then…………… who knows?
It’s great to have your support and enthusiasm and I hope you’ll
stay with us as all of this stuff develops.
For a long time I have prayed to find a clear direction. It came
completely out of the blue which, to me, is more proof that prayers
are answered!
