Thursday - April 10th 2003

After a fairly lazy day and just two interviews we went to the venue and prepared for the show. I was working with the Rostovski Academic Symphony Orchestra here and in Krasnodar and Volgograd, under the direction of conductor Alexander Millekovsky and we rehearsed the four songs we were planning to play together.

As it happens, on the night, the plan to move the orchestra part a little later in the show didn't work at all because at that point in the show (i.e after "The Wizard" and "July Morning") the audience wasn't at all prepared to sit down and be quiet!! And I don't blame them. (Tomorrow we'll start the show with the orchestra!!)

But it was a great show and the audience was really wild. Thanks to relaxed security they were able to get up and rock and that made a big difference! So two shows and two sell outs and we are already building some momentum!! I have to say that a lot of prayers are being answered here and I am thankful for that. Can't wait for tomorrow now!!

Next day...
