Doesn't feel at all like a Sunday… more like a Monday actually!

We arrived at the main train station in Moscow bang on time and feeling okay so we went for breakfast before going to the airport to pick up the flight to Volgograd for tonight's show. I am writing this from the airport where we are waiting for the call to board so I'll pick it up later!! They just called the flight… gotta run!

Volgograd is the farthest south we will go and even closer to Turkey etc… and the weather is noticeably different there… quite warm and even sunny. (Travel Tip… travelling to and in a country this big you can experience lots of changes in weather and major time-zone changes so it's worth checking with weather.com so you can be prepared!!).

Another smooth flight on another tiny plane and, after dealing with a few little "suprises", like an impromptu press conference and a near riot at the entrance we finished sound check and hurriedly prepared for the show. This one wasn't totally sold out (they tell me Sundays are not the best days for shows here… who knows?) but the crowd was really noisy! Trouble was they were actually more noisy during the songs than they were at the end of them… strange! But the revised set list worked out well so we will use it for the rest of the tour dates. The Moscow set list will be different because of the orchestra/DVD thing but I am sending all of them so you can see what we've been up to!!

For some strange reason they changed tomorrow's flight to an earlier one so it's time for bed now… talk to you later!

Next day...
